On January 19th, the delivery of N999 FPSO project built by Qidong COSCO Shipping & Offshore for British Petroleum (BP) was completed. This is the first FPSO built by a Chinese shipbuilding enterprise for a first-class European oil company's project in Africa, and it is also the platform with the largest daily natural gas processing capacity in the world.

N999 FPSO is the first FPSO project of British Petroleum BP in China, with a length of 270 meters, a width of 54 meters and a depth of 31.5 meters, with an area equivalent to two soccer fields and a height comparable to that of a 10-storey building, with a design service life of 30 years, a maximum displacement tonnage of about 320,000 tons, and an oil storage capacity of not less than 1.44 million barrels. The living area is about 22 meters in length, 41 meters in width and 32 meters in height, and can accommodate 140 people, which can provide a comfortable working and living environment for employees of different genders and nationalities.N999 FPSO is also the world's largest gas processing platform under construction, and the upper facility adopts the international cutting-edge processing technology, which consists of five pipeline supports and eight oil and gas processing production modules, and the processing process includes fluid reception, gas-liquid separation, condensate removal and stabilization. After commissioning, the gas treatment capacity will reach 500 million standard cubic feet per day.
