(HBM), was officially named 'Greg Mortimer' at the grand naming and delivery ceremony in jiangsuhaimen, And successfully completed the delivery.
It is reported that the polar exploration cruise has a total length of 104.4 meters, a width of 18.4 meters, a design draft of 5.1 meters, a gross tonnage of about 8035 tons, and a maximum speed of 16.3 knots. The cruise cabin has 135 independent rooms or suites, which can carry about 250 people, including more than 80 Deluxe balcony rooms, family suites, deluxe suites and porthole rooms, which can meet the needs of different explorers. Moreover, the cruise integrates entertainment, leisure, ocean exploration, water sports and other facilities, fully meets the latest polar norms and relevant standards for safe return of passenger ships, and the safety and environmental protection requirements have also reached the highest level.

Then, the 'Greg Mortimer' cruise ship will pass through Singapore, the Cape of good hope in South Africa, and then cross the Atlantic Ocean to Ushuaia in the south of Argentina, known as the 'end of the world'. The whole voyage will take about 28 days. After arriving in Ushuaia and getting ready, the 'Greg Mortimer' cruise will officially launch its first 12 day expedition to Antarctica on October 23, which is also the first time for a Chinese made cruise to enter Antarctica.
