On December 17th, China Shipbuilding Group's "No.1 Project"--China's first domestic large cruise ship H1508 successfully achieved the milestone of floating in the dock at SWS.Mr. Chen Zhongnian, General Manager of HBM, and Mr. Tian Yajun, Deputy General Manager of HBM were invited to attend the floating ceremony.

H1508 is the Chinese first and only domestic large cruise ship under construction. As the only Chinese enterprise in the large cruise ship first-class interior engineering general contractor, after undertaking the task, Huanan Building Materials quickly launched the "key project" management, and set up the H1508 project team together with the Japanese partner NSS, with the full cooperation of other departments and priority protection, HBM entire staff is united in striving to make the public areas of the large cruise ship a model in the industry. The whole company is working hard to make the interior decoration of the public areas of large cruise ships a model in the industry.

After intense preparations in the early stage, HBM/NSS-H1508 project team has formally entered the construction site in June 2021, and all the work has been methodically and orderly promoted. Up to now, the project team has achieved milestones in sample inspection, actual ship construction, detailed design, material procurement, management documents, etc., and the response has been favorable.

With the successful achievement of floating in the dock, the large cruise ship formally enters the "deep water" of internal installation and system completion and commissioning. HBM will continue to work closely with Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, go all out and work actively to add bricks and mortar to the high-quality delivery of large cruise ships.
